Last Night Cartoon Network CANCELLED TOONAMI all of a sudden. Although some saw this coming the fact that it’s gone for good kills any hope of seeing a resurgence. Toonami is what MADE CARTOON NETWORK what it is today. Without it, CN wouldn’t have Adult Swim thanks to the Midnight Run, it wouldn’t have it’s ratings or followers. CN has officially killed what little Anime Fanbase it had left. Their Phone Number is 404-827-1700 Their address is 1050 Techwood Drive, NW Atlanta, GA 30318 VENT …

Zoids, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam 0080, Dragonball, Sailor Moon, He-Man (not that Masters of the Universe crap). Why the hell were those shows and many other great ones thrown out the window and replaced with mindless dribble? Fart jokes and overused puns aren’t entertaining, a great story with amazing character development is.

thanks the only reason i am hopeful is because people are still trying to make it happen and maybe toonami will come back some where because tom said “til next time” which could mean hes coming back (sorry I have alot on my mind)

i agree with you but i also hate that gay white toy looking think they use and i dont like any of the new shows that much cause most of them arent originals like 6teen and johnny test

let me make a speach : toonami was one of a kind, it had many different types great shows. it wasnt for younger kids like cartoonnetwork nor was it for older like adult swim yet in between those two age groups for those who were too old for c.n. and to young for a.s. it gave them a place on the channel 17. not only will it be missed but remembered. In hopes of return we will miss toonami.

Two of the shows on Cartoon Network now a days are absolute garbage - FlapJack and Chowder. Ben 10 Alien Force, Johnny Test, and StarWars the Clone Wars are OK, but nothing can replace Toonami. And mostly all they show are re-runs over and over again. Toonami is the reason people watched Cartoon Network. even Maguzi which introduced Code Lyoko got canceled. Teen Titans is also gone. Its like thanks for helping us get popular now go away. Cartoon Network won’t last long without Toonami

I remember when I first watched toonami I was about four years old. I got introduced to many shows like Rurouni Kenshin, sailor moon (lmao),Yu Yu Hakusho, Miyazaki films, Naruto, One Piece, and many other shows. Toonami will be missed alot ): CartoonNetwork is like just kiddy shows now. D:<

well naruto and toonami have been cancelled which sucks, but i heard that there may be a slim and very slim chance of naruto coming back on adult swim but it will be the second storyline, shippuuden but theres a 98% chance that it wont come back

  19. ParadoX216H on May 11th, 2009 12:12 am

If they cancel Adult swim there’d better be an Adult Swim network or there will be an uprising of angry 14 year olds everywhere

    RIP Cartoon Network 1992-2008

Theres no explainable reason for why Toonami went off the air. They didnt even show the good episodes of DBZ to boost ratings(just some cell saga reminders). I fear adult swims in a bad way too. CNs going corporate. CN is playing movies on saturdays now. MOVIES!!!!!!!!! ive posted many messages on youtube but until now i haven’t used a exclamation mark. Boycott CN something must be done.
