Constantine’s Nicene Council replaced Passover with Easter in tribute to the Babylonian sungod religion, and their Istar and Asherah, the Mother of God and Queen of Heaven. Jezebel would have been so proud.
The demonic, sun-centered cult, not surprisingly, supported the divine right of kings to rule, even authorizing emperor worship. Catholics invited Satan in and then married him, making Catholisim the seat of Satan.
At least you got that right. Go to my page and find true scripture. peace
Sunday was the Lord’s(Lord Ba’al) day, Mithras Solis Invictus - the Devil’s Sabbath. Catholics imposed it and then made Sabbath worship a criminal offense. December 25th was Mithras’ birthday - the rebirth of the sun. In the 9th century, the Natalis Invictus and its festival, the Saturnalia or Paganalia, was renamed “Christmas” by the Roman Catholic Church.
They devalued it by hiding it. Rather than fulfilling Yahweh’s commands, they conceived and pronounced their own edicts, doctrines that made them rich and powerful. So Yahushua told them to think differently or be prepared to lose everything. From what I can tell, they have made a very poor choice.
While 99.99% of Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant Churches have erased, besmeared, plastered over, blotted out and obliterated Yahuweh’s and Yahushua’s name from the Scroll we call Scripture, the ultimate book of life, there are a few who have not.
The principle problem that corrupted and then destroyed the credibility of the Roman Catholic Church was that the politicized clerics who ruled her chose not to remember Yahuweh’s Scripture.
360.., watch my Eucharist video. I am an atheist, so I do not and will not pray. Much of what you say I simply do not understand, such as your last sentence: ‘Is there fear in testing a piece of bread?’
360.,,I do not understand this comment of yours, that starts, ‘Church is empty’
Being a Catholic priest explains why you now feel the way you do. The Roman Catholic religion is basically a pagan sun-worshiping religion whose dogma was formulated by councils of men over the centuries. The trinity doctrine, doctrine of immortality, “hell-fire” dogma, sun god day keeping, Ashtar goddess veneration (Easter) are just a few of the many errors of this man-made religion which has nothing to do with the one true God. The symbology of Catholicism says it all.
Church is empty, nothing there.Pray to waffer? What to fear? Not God No furry, fault or care.Pray to nothing noone’s there. Will you?Won’t you?Dare to die.Years of haunting ,care and pride. What you don’t care, yet pay to shout, is what your want won’t live without. You know He says fear only me, but bread but waffer, which you flee?An education learned in pain,a pride worth breaking, not in vein. You are a Father still to be, now lift your cross and live for me.
I think you were the victom of poor education Father. You reject the Eucharist ?Pray before him an hour. Is pride so valued? Accept education From God himself. A simple test. A Church full of emptiness. What is there to fear. Will you stand before what you say is not God of everything? Is there fear in testing a piece of bread?
You’re making a valid point here, but really, the drive that you had as a younger man is probably consistent among the practitioners of these religions. It’s devotion, is all, yet some believe it’s stupid, myself included.
Personally, my belief is that god, if there is indeed one, is not omnipotent or judgmental, but rather one who passively watches. Deism, really, in that there wouldn’t be a heaven, or a hell; more or less that God created science.
Cissy, a large portion of my seminary class and other classes near mine–perhaps approaching 50%–left the priesthood.
I think it’s brave of you to speak out like this. Wonder how many ex-priests also became disillusioned?
Don’t blame yourself; the threat of hell is always used by the Church to control the minds of people.
Ed,
Eph 2:8-10 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. NKJV
Please stop believing the catholic made up gospel and see that you can’t earn your reconciliation to God, you have to accept the free gift of Jesus’ final atoning sacrifice for you and all. You must be ‘born again’. Read John Chap. 3
Lord, please give Ed clear revelation…
In Christ ,
Paul (formerly Saul)
Absolutely. I’m specifically referring to using the rosary and the belief of Mary sitting in a position of power, the use of confession and baptisms as children and not as adults.
These are all things that have been added to over the course of the last few centuries but can be found nowhere in scripture.
@jordansroom ever read John 6 ? might be a good idea to do so to see what Jesus REALLY wants us to do so that we may have life in us and be raised on the last day
Crystal.., if you watched other videos of mine, you would probably realize that is is not worthwhile for you to ask me to turn to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. If you have not already, I suggest that you watch my video Bible–Word of God. Thank you.
The Bible says, “in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” Matthew 15:9.
Turn to the Seventh day Adventist church, where God’s truth is taught.
Interesting. I think it’s important to remember that most of the rules that the Catholic church follows are not Biblical but rather man made and imposed by tradition, something that Christ was against. Most of these standards and practices won’t be found in other churches ie Baptist, Lutheran, etc.
You make sense, but I am not sure who’s sense it is that you make. I am 16, I care deeply for the lord. I speak to him like a friend and a father. However, your videos make me want to stop eating meat on Fridays, which is something I’ve never really paid attention to.
Ed, the sin as a Catholic is not (and never was) eating meat on a Friday or failing to attend Mass on Sunday. The sin is to turn away from God. If God asks you to worship at Mass on Sunday for a brief time and you voluntarily decide to go surf the web instead, you have turned away from God. Is it a mortal sin? That depends on what is in your heart…and only you and God know that. The Church exists to teach the truth…but you also have to hear it.
I don’t think you really understand that the church can change certain requirements but not others. For example it used to be a sacrilege to touch the Eucharist but now the church allows communion to be received by hand. The church has the authority to change certain practices or customs like that. I think you need to talk to a good theologian so you can come to a better understanding.
Ed what ur doing is great !!! speak ur mind/heart/soul!!!
Edward if you could remember to distinguish the difference between the Catholic church and protestants. Remember Martin Luther, once he realized you were saved by grace and not these imposed, religious, regulations he tried to convert the Catholic church but they loved the power too much. There is a set of true believers out there, believing in Christs love and not whetehr or not they eat meat on a friday will harm them.
I have really been enjoying your videos.
I am curious, have you made a video of why you deconverted after being a catholic priest? What was it that first convinced you of god, even with living with an atheist mother. And what was it that eventually made you reject your faith? Sorry if i have missed the answers to these questions posted else where.
Chr., you do not accurately know the moral teachings of your own church. In 1999 Pope John Paul said, ‘People are obliged to follow their conscience in all circumstances.’ That is exactly what I do. Stop threatening me; indeed, stop communicating with me.
